Residential House P, St.Georgen

Immersed in Landscape.

This project combines two different garden spaces into a harmonious overall picture, connected by a modern building made of glass and concrete. The intense roof greening seamlessly integrates the architecture into the surrounding landscape and strengthens the connection between the interior and exterior space. The front garden area follows a clear geometric structure. A precisely projecting pool, accompanied by grasses and lavender, sets a striking design element. Trees planted in rows create an architectural order, while individual solitary pots in ceramic containers set individual accents. Embedded in this concept are subtly grouped retreat areas and plantings that make the garden a habitat. In contrast, the rear garden develops in gentle height levels, free from strict geometry. It opens up to the landscape and seamlessly transitions into the adjoining fields. The design is reminiscent of a near-natural orchard meadow with loose paths, flowering perennials, fruit trees, grasses, and raised beds. A snack garden invites you to linger and enhances the natural character of this area. The interplay of architecture and landscape blurs the boundaries between built and grown space and creates a unity in which nature and design interlock.
